Twist’s lineage screams “Cham-pion” bloodlines. with a wide variety of coat colors and patterns. You can see that her background includes: bay, chestnut, buckskin, sorrel, silver dapple bay, black, grey, blue roan, palomino, and dun. Whew! Her DNA results will be exciting to see as well.
She is a full half-sister to Baybee and was born exactly 364 days after Mary Echo. Mary Echo was born on April 29, 2009; Twist was born on April 28, 2010, and Baybee was born on April 30, 2011. Talk about three days of back-to-back birthday celebrations!
Twist is a very sweet mare who avoids confrontations at all costs. She is very obedient and easy to handle. Her overall conformation is superb and she is well-balanced. Her fore-lock, mane and tail are the thickest I have ever seen, and the quality of her hair is soft and silky. When the sum-mer sun hits her coat, the glisten of irridescent copper almost is blinding!
Twist still has part of her “winter coat” in the photos.
Check out the quality, thickness, and length of Twist’s forelock, mane, and tail! During the summer they bleach out to a beautiful shade of light blond-copper which accentuates the deep, irridescent copper color of her coat. She has the softest, silkiest, hair coat. Twist knows she’s from royalty; just look at the way she can naturally “strike a pose!”
