RCCR Fallen Ash Supreme Dream Haylo — aka “Haylo”

Haylo is my first-born. I had the thrill of planning the sire/mare pair-ing, which was followed by the antici-pation of what their offspring would look like. I still remember the day when I first saw her wobbling around in the stall with Buckette. It was as-tonishment and amazement that such a tiny little horse was in my barn. We didn’t get much work done that day, and my son-in-law (who works for us) really didn’t get much accomplished that entire week. His birthday is the day after Haylo’s, so he did his fair share of bonding and playing with her.

Haylo’s DNA results shows she car-ries one copy of the Splashed White 1, and also one copy of the Cream dilu-tion. She is the perfect companion when bred correctly to produce off-spring ranging in color from Palomino all the way to black.

She loves attention and is very docile around humans. Her features are re-fined and delicate and she carries her-self well. She loves to frolick in the grass and play with her stablemates.

The three photos to the right show Haylo as a newborn. She had a funny habit of stretching her body out and bringing her head and neck up in an arch. Haylo had the most beautiful violet eyes as a newborn, but they gradually changed to gray-brown.

Haylo has been a total metamorphosis of colors. The photo above shows her as a yearling… you can see the patches of golden buckskin peeking through at various points, and the black stockings on all four legs beginning to become visible. The photo on her home page shows her as a two-year-old. Once again she has only shows a touch of buckskin in her face while the rest of her coat appears to be gray.
