Baybee is the tallest of the mares, and is the “lookout” of the herd. There is nothing that gets past her watchful eye and she is always quick to alert everyone else as to what is going on. She has the most energy and the most athletic abililty of all the mares, but is still very docile and is easy to handle. She carries herself in a very stately manner and has an elegance in her mannerisms.I love her deep blood-red bay color that sometimes almost appears maroon in the sunlight.
Baybee’s lineage is a wonderful mixture of champion bloodlines with a wide variety of coat colors and pat-terns. Her DNA results will be excit-ing to see. I think we’re in store for some beautiful genetic surprises, and I’m expecting big things out of her as well. She is a full half-sister to Mary Echo and was born exactly one year and one day after her. Their mother is a golden dun who is 30 inches tall. Baybee still has part of her “winter coat” in the photos.
Check out the quality, thickness, and length of Baybee’s mane and tail! Her forelock is pulled back to gain a better view of her face. She’s a beautiful blood bay with a very deep, saturated coloration.
Baybee as a weanling. She’s been a little handful ever since I brought her home… we’re having a stare-down. Now she is my tallest mare, standing at 33 inches.
